Farlina Said is the Director of the Cyber and Technology Policy programme at ISIS Malaysia, where she leads work on cybersecurity, technology policy, and digital governance. She has facilitated Cyber Norms for Responsible State Behaviour with the Australian Strategic Policy Institute and chaired Malaysia’s CSCAP Study Group on International Law and Cyberspace. She has also organised AI governance dialogues with MyDIGITAL and Microsoft. Her research focuses on cyber stability, Malaysia’s national interests in emerging technologies, and the peaceful use of cyber tools. She holds an MSc in Strategic Studies from RSIS, NTU, and joined the ROK Unification Ministry’s Emerging Leaders Fellowship in 2019.
